The aim of the study is to evaluate, in our series (limited but homogeneous, in a single institution), the postoperative morbidity, and in the medium term results, the relapse incidence (in the laparoscopic treatment of the NPHC and the PCLD). The preoperative selection of the patients with NPHC or PCLD is fundamental to program the surgical treatment. The laparoscopic fenestration and the deroofing can be considered a safe and efficacious treatment, in particular for the solitary hepatic cysts, but also for the polycystic disease characterized by great and superficial cysts.
