摘要
The semi-solid forward-extruding feasibility of AlSi7Mg alloy cast by low-superheat semi-continuous casting process was studied through analyzing the microstructures and properties of the forward-extruded bars. The results show that the semi-solid forward-extruded bars of the AlSi7Mg alloy billet, cast by low-superheat semi-continuous casting process, are facial-smoothed, microstructure-fined and homogeneous. The feasibility of semi-solid forward-extrusion of AlSi7Mg alloy is perfect. Treated by the solution at 540 degrees C for 5 hours and aging at 175 degrees C for 10 hours, the tensile strength of the extruded bars is above 320 MPa and the elongation rate is above 11.43%.
