Microscopic studies of radioactive Hg implanted in YBa2Cu3O6+x superconducting thin films

摘要
YBa2Cu3O6+x (YBCO) superconducting thin films implanted with low doses of radioactive Hg-197m and Hg-199m isotopes were studied with a combination of nuclear and non-nuclear characterization techniques. We show that after implantation Hg lies on a unique site in the YBCO lattice and the critical temperature increases slightly with the increase of the Au-197 concentration from the nuclear transmutation of Hg-197.
