摘要
The global apparel market is profitable with high growth rate, especially in the Asia Pacific area and emerging countries. The purpose of this study is to explore how Fashion Institute of Taipei develops competitive advantages via providing value-added innovative services and how they provide these services into the local costume businesses to flourish traditional apparel cluster. This study utilized a service experience engineering (SEE) perspective to examine how managers using industrial value chain and service design model to assist apparel companies in the service experience process. Thirteen potential service innovations and five constructs model were developed when the institute facing the fast fashion trend. Our results indicated that Fashion Institute of Taipei have realized that they are also integrative design service providers and are capable of utilizing IT technology to enhance the service platform to provide innovative services in line with SEE into the local costume businesses area. The client interface, delivery system, new service concept and business networks also construct the new types of service innovation.
