摘要
In this work we study emissive-energy converters working at nanoscale distances. We first present a complete model for emissive converters and use it in cases where the emission of heat at the cell emitter happens in the near-field. Then, we use three examples: (i) converters where the heat transfer happens between two infinite planes, (ii) when the transmission happens through resonant models and (iii) when the radiated beam of heat is very concentrated spatially. These three model cases allow to understand the limits and possibilities of near-field emissive-energy harvesting.
