摘要
N-carbazolylacetic acid was synthesized using a new method in a high yield and two carbazolylacetato complexes [Zn(Cabo)(phen)(2)ClO4].0.5C(2)H(5)OH and [Cd(Cabo)(phen)(2)-ClO4] (Cabo = N-carbazolylacetate, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis spectra, thermal analyses, photoluminescence measurement and X-ray diffraction studies. Both of the complexes exhibit strong blue emission in solid state as well as high thermal stability and solvent-resistant properties. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
