摘要
This study designs a retrieval system for digital calligraphy image based on artificial intelligence in China with improved searching accuracy and efficiency. Enabling the calligraphy enthusiasts to select desired targets from massive digital calligraphy images is a difficult task. Currently, techniques of text-based digital calligraphy image retrieval fail to meet the need of massive digital calligraphy image retrieval. On the contrary, techniques of content-based digital calligraphy image retrieval are already established and present vast research potential. Matured techniques of digital calligraphy image retrieval are introduced, the evaluation criteria of the effectiveness of such techniques are explained, and the modified text-and-contentbased digital calligraphy image retrieval algorithm is presented. The research conclusions with contrast experiments illustrated by the sample figures are also verified.
