摘要：
Loco-regional perfusion allows local application of high concentrations of antibiotics to the distal limb in the standing or anaesthetised horse. This treatment option decreases the costs for antibiotics and also the risk of systemical toxic side effects, but might be associated with complications. This article describes indications, technique and antibiotics used for the loco-regional perfusion of the equine limb, as well as risks and complications associated with this technique.
