摘要
The gene coding for p53, a suppressor of malignant growth, is induced by:various stress factors that cause appearance of the hereditarily pathologic cells, One of important p53 functions is initiation of apoptosis that eliminates potentially dangerous cells from the organism, The mechanisms of p53-induced apoptosis are reviewed.
