Coupled dark-bright vector solitons are considered in four dispersion-managed maps with three sorts of randomly varying birefringence, and the effects of the birefringence on the soliton propagation and interaction are investigated by the numerical method. The birefringence leads to the disintegration of the bright soliton and the submergence of the dark soliton, and enhances the soliton interaction. The effects depend strictly on the dispersion- managed maps and the birefringence, and the dark solitons have robust features compared with the bright solitons. Finally, the effective controls for the soliton propagation and interaction are discussed.
