Propagation, properties of off-axis cosh Gaussian beam combinations through a first-order optical system

摘要
In this Letter, the propagation properties of the off-axis cosh Gaussian (ChG) beam combinations through a first-order optical system are demonstrated analytically and numerically. For the cases of the coherent and the incoherent ChG beam combinations. our results illustrate that the beam quality of the coherent ChG beam combination is better than that of the incoherent one. both of which are presented by M-2-factor and power in bucket (PIB). The kurtoses, for the coherent and the incoherent cases, show that the profiles of ChG beam combinations are platykurtic except for the extreme reduced case. i.e., Gaussian beam.
