Raman studies of structural phase transition in Cs3Bi2Br9

摘要
The phase transition at 95 K in Cs3Bi2Br9 have been investigated in detail by the Raman spectroscopy. A systematic study on temperature dependencies of the frequencies and bandwidths in the wavenumber range 0-250 cm(-1) confirmed continuous nature of the phase transition. A soft mode is suggested to exist in the low temperature phase. The mechanism of the phase transition has a displacive nature. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
