摘要
Sleep Electroencephalogram (EEG) analysis can be used to detect sleep disorders and pathological events during sleep. The main objective of this paper is an analysis of sleep EEG in which episodes of Rapid Eye Movement (REM) and Non-Rapid Eye Movement (non-REM) were present. The data base of sleep was created named, "Amrita Sleep Database" (ASDB) with 100 samples of data from the age group between 20-25 healthy subjects. EEG data was collected using electrode set with 14 bit resolution. ASDB was subjected to preprocessing and feature extraction using the Finite Impulse Response (FIR) notch filter. The filtered data, were used for analyzing the location features. For this, the preprocessed data underwent Independent Component Analysis (ICA).
