摘要
Image-guided procedures are difficult to perform in closed-bore MR systems. To overcome these limitations, different robotic systems have been proposed. In this presentation a short overview over existing MR-compatible robots is given and their applications are discussed. The construction of robotic devices for MR-guided procedures is technically demanding, and many sources of artifacts originating from the chosen materials, the electronic interfacing as well as the interaction with the radiofrequency fields need to be considered. Nevertheless, optimized robotic systems offer an improved access to the patient, and might help to increase the spatial precision during MR-guided procedures.
