Influence of anthracene and its ozonation products on catalase activity and soil respiration

摘要
Ozone was employed to remediate soil contaminated by anthracene under simulated conditions. After ozonation, quinoide was observed by means of UV-Vis absorption spectra and FT-IR spectra. Oxidation product was further determined to be 9,10-anthraquinone by GC-MS. Toxicity tests showed that catalase activity was inhibited by anthracene and its oxidation products, which influence catalase activity more pronounced than anthracene itself. On the other hand, soil respiration was stimulated by anthracene and its oxidation products, and the effects of anthracene on soil respiration were more significant than those of its oxidation products.
