摘要
Adsorbents consisting of Mn (x) O (y) supported on MCM-41 have been prepared at different calcination temperatures by the ultrasonic assisted impregnation method. The physical properties of these adsorbents have been characterized by thermogravimetric and differential thermal gravimetry, X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, temperature-programmed reduction, and nitrogen sorption analysis. The results showed that the adsorbent calcined at 550 A degrees C exhibited the best desulfurization performance. The saturated H2S capacity reached 28.65 mg/g at an adsorption temperature of 25 A degrees C. The saturated H2S capacities of the different adsorbents decreased in the order of their calcination temperatures as follows: 550 > 450 > 350 > 650 A degrees C.
