摘要
The varied and frequent demands imposed on the young athlete by tennis are associated with a high incidence of injuries. Most of these are overload in nature and are in the lower and upper extremities. The injuries are more sport specific than gender specific, and they frequently are associated with maladaptations in flexibility or muscle strength. Preventative conditioning may be a method to decrease the maladaptations and injury risk.
