摘要
Electrical capacitance volume tomography (ECVT) has been used for imaging of flow media in various industrial applications. An ECVT sensor operates in the Laplacian (quasi-static) regime, which exacerbates the ill-conditioning of the associated inverse problem and the imaging resolution. In this paper, we propose a new strategy to increase image resolution through the use of a higher electrode density sensor, which enables electronic scanning by means of synthetic electrodes. We validate the proposed strategy through various simulations.
