Effect of Exogenous Hormones on Dry Matter Accumulation and Growth of Tomato Seedlings

摘要
Organic substances, which are produced by the plant's own metabolism, are moved from the site of production to the site of action and are also known as plant natural hormone or plant endogenous hormones for the obvious physiological effect of minim materials at the very low concentration. In order to explore the effect of exogenous hormones on dry matter accumulation and growth of tomato seedlings, four kinds of plant hormones are used to root dip the tomato seedlings. The experiment mainly studies the plant hormones which include indoleacetic acid (IAA), gibberellic acid (GA3), 6-benzyl adenine (6-BA) and naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) at different concentrations. The experimental group and control group are set up to process and analyze the experimental data by using DPS and Microsoft office Excel 2003. The results show that the use of indoleacetic acid of 0.1mg/L, gibberellic acid of 1mg/L, naphthalene acetic acid of 0.005mg/L and 6-benzyl adenine of 0.01mg/L is beneficial to the growth of tomato seedlings and dry matter accumulation, meanwhile, the use of them can significantly promote the growth of lateral roots and the increase of roots, and the results of experimental group and control group vary widely.
