摘要
In order to solve the inaccuracy problems of the method for calculation of the receiving power of the reflection using the experiment measuring and curve-fitting to describe the intensity optical fiber, this paper suggests distribution of the light wave transmitting from optical fiber, and has provided an accurate numerical method to calculate the receiving power of optical fiber from reflection light wave, which can be applied in calculating the characteristic of the fiber coupling, reflection optical fiber sensor and tip-timing sensor accurately. The effectiveness of these methods has been verified by comparing the calculation and the experimentally measured data for the tip-timing sensor. The results of calculation analysis for tip-timing sensor indicated the divergence of the light beam may have an adverse effect on the characteristic of the sensor significantly and 19 fibers with two transmitting fibers structure is a better choice for tip-timing sensor.
