摘要：

The He-3 spin relaxation was measured below room temperature for spin-exchange optical pumping (SEOP) cells made of quartz glass. Although a large variation was observed among cells, the spin relaxation rates were found to have a similar temperature dependence. Below room temperature, the relaxation rate decreases slowly with temperature while it increases rather rapidly above room temperature. The phenomena below room temperature may be interpreted by adsorption of 3 He to the cell wall. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
