Polar coronal holes in the solar activity cycle

摘要
The area of coronal holes, located at solar latitudes of more than 60, is compared with the evolution of the large-scale magnetic fields on the Sun's surface. We found a decrease in the area of the coronal holes as well as growth of their low-latitude boundaries in connection with a reversal of the polar magnetic field. (C) 2014 COSPAR.
