Study of the voltammetric behavior of chloramphenicol and its determination at a Ni/C modified electrode

摘要
With a Ni/C modified electrode as working electrode, in 0.1 mol/L NaOH solution, a sensitive reductive wave of chloramphenicol was obtained by linear sweep voltammetry. The peak potential was -0.80V (SCE). The peak height was proportional to the concentration of chloramphenicol over the range of 1.0 x 10(-5) -1.0 x 10(-3) mol/L and the detection limit was of 5.0 x 10(-6) mol/L. The behavior of the reduction wave was studied and applied to the determination of chloramphenicol in eye drops. The reduction process was quasi-reversible. The experiments of AES and XPS showed that Ni was surely implanted into the surface of the GCE and the implanted Ni improved the electrochemical activity of the GCE.
