Artificial fabrication of 60° domain structures in KNbO3 single crystals

摘要
Japan A new poling concept (differential vector poling), that is electric poling direction was selected as the proper direction that is coincident with the differential vector between original spontaneous polarization and inverted polarization, was proposed for artificial domain control in KNbO3. Applying this new poling concept, it could be fabricated about 230 to 250 V/mm for 60degrees domain structures of KNbO3. A very sharp boundaries of 60degrees, domain were observed across the whole sample thickness (2 mm).
