The supply of the first Covid-19 vaccines to be registered for population use worldwide will be limited in the short and medium term and therefore it is necessary to define population groups that will receive the vaccine initially and subsequently.To this end, Mexico's Covid-19VaccineTechnical Advisory Group has reviewed the documents generated by the WHO and various countries on prioritizing population groups to be vaccinated, including the ethical principles and values in the allocation of these vaccines. The preliminary results of vaccination analysis in relation to the risk of dying from Covid-19 in Mexico identified the greatest benefit of vaccination in prioritizing initially health workers and people aged 60 years or older with or without comorbidities descending every decade of life, in addition to people aged 50 to 59 years with comorbidities.
