摘要
We theoretically investigate the modulation of carrier mobility in quasi-one dimensional organic crystals that consist of linear chains of conducting molecules. Two major electronphonon interaction mechanisms are included in our model. It is shown that under certain conditions, the interplay of these two mechanisms may lead to a scattering rate reduction for the conduction band electronic states within a narrow energy range. As a result, the carriers in these states will have a significantly increased mobility at room temperature, limited by the scattering on impurities or by the interchain interactions.
