Photoelectrochemical behaviour of nickel electrodes modified with Ni-tetraphenylporphynate

The pbotoelectrochemical behaviour of Ni electrodes with oxidized and non-oxidized support, covered with Ni [5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphynate] (NiTPP), in alkaline electrolyte, was investigated by using cyclic voltammetry. Significant results were obtained by illuminating the electrodes with light of various wavelengths and by modifying the applied potential. The unmodified and photoelectrochemically modified structures were also tested under illumination, in alkaline solution in the presence of a redox couple.
