摘要
The lessons learned and best practices in civil engineering education were discussed. It was observed that effective questioning turns a passive classroom into a active learning environment where the professor control the course of events but everyone is participating in the learning process. For making classroom interaction a positive response correct answer should be praised by the instructor, should be supportive with wrong answer, participation from every one should be encouraged which will create threat-free classroom atmosphere. It was suggested that thought provoking question should be posed and the answer should be withholded until a perfectly timed moment which can help create drama and can enhance classroom instructions.
