摘要
Statistical and correlation theory has been applied to profile traces of grinding wheel surfaces for the purpose of surface characterisation. In this case the depth of stylus penetration was limited so that only the outermost levels of the surface asperities were recorded. Results show that the data obtained can detect changes in the character of the abrasive surface topography.
