摘要
In this article we present a reflection about the need to promote an Early Childhood Education that is attentive to the diversity and individuality of each child. Based on a brief analysis of the Brazilian and Portuguese official goals for early childhood education,we reflect on the potential of play to promote learning and development and propose Experiential Education(EDEX) as an educational approach that promotes an environment of respect for rhythms and needs of each child. Following EDEX, the educator should evaluate and regulate his intervention based on his analysis of play, planning the educational action according to the signs of well-being and involvement evidenced by the children. In this way, it will be possible to access more inclusive pedagogical practices, attentive to the reality of each child and achieve the official goals for early childhood education, what must be considering on the training of early childhood teacher education.
