Experimental investigation on flow characteristics of pulverized coal dense-phase pneumatic conveying at high pressure

摘要
Experiments of pulverized coal dense-phase pneumatic conveying using nitrogen were carried out in an experimental setup at the pressure up to 3.7MPa and the solid-gas ratio up to 700kg/m(3). The influences of total conveying differential pressure, the pulverized coal moisture content, injected velocity and pressure on the characteristic parameters were investigated. The results indicate that pulverized coal mass flow rate increases with increase in total conveying differential pressure or conveying pressure. The solid-gas ratio rises with increase in total conveying differential pressure PF and increases at first and then declines as injected velocity increases. With increase in the pulverized coal moisture content, the pulverized coal mass flow rate and the differential pressure per unit length decrease under the same experimental condition.
