摘要：

(New records in Carex L. (Cyperaceae) for Brazil). Carex brongniartii Kunth is a new record for Brazil and C. seticulmis Bocck. for the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Morphological data for the identification of the two species, including short descriptions and illustrations are provided. as well as data on habitat and distribution.
