摘要
We show a striking similarity between the electronic energy spectrum of a helical nanostructure in a transverse electric field and the spectrum of a quantum ring pierced by a magnetic flux in the presence of an in-plane electric field. Optimal parameters of quantum rings are found, for which electric field can be used for the observation of Aharonov-Bohm oscillations.
