摘要：
In this paper we present TMSsim, a flexible toolset for the assessment of road traffic management strategies. Road networks, road characteristics, and traffic monitoring / control elements can be entered easily using user friendly editors. The simulator kernel based on a mesoscopic traffic model can be distributed over a number of computers to adapt the required processing power to the model compexity. In mixed level mode several users can drive single cars in an virtual environment interactively. Online and offline visualization tools provide n application specific view on the actually running simulation.
