摘要
Multi-converter structure could be used for the motor drives with advanced performance requirement. This paper presents a two-segment motor system with carrier phase-shift PWM to reduce the torque ripple and vibration noise in the motor. Firstly, the operation principle of the two-segment motor system is analyzed. Then the mathematical model and control architecture of two segments motor in the rotor reference frame is developed. Further, the principle of carrier wave phase-shift PWM is presented, which can cancel the corresponding torque ripple in certain frequency range and reduce the vibration and noise in the drive system. A prototype of two-segment PMSM and drive have been developed. Simulation and experiment have been done with the prototype and the results can effectively support the proposed methods.
