The Appita Asia Committee cooperated with the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) and six other Malaysian organisations from the forestry, paper and packaging sectors in organising the International Pulp and Paper Conference in Kuching, Sarawak in Eastern Malaysia on 10-11 November 1997. The Chairman of the Appita Asia Committee, MR IAN DENCH, reports on the outcome of the Conference.
