Problems in the Development of Geological Tourism in Jiangxi Province and Countermeasures

Jiangxi province is rich in resources for the development of geological tourism. But during the development of geological tourism, many problems have arisen, such as the lack of scientific research in the development of geological resources and severe damage to the ecological environment; lack of planning; irregularity in the regulation of the geological tourism industry; lack of consciousness in building brands; lack of scientific education for the tourists and the lack of market development. From the perspective of sustainable development, this article provides countermeasures to the existing problems. This article proposes that the geotourism industry in Jiangxi should implement the strategy of sustainable development in making plans and regulations, build and promote brands, innovate tourism products, and promote the use of modern technologies.
