摘要
The aim of the paper is the preparation, characterisation of release of the medicament substance in view of acquiring longer effects with the help of nystatin microcapsules in dosage form for vaginal administration. Thus, the first stage was the preparation of nystatin microcapsules by ionotropic gelation. In vitro, through pH variations, we have conducted a study on nystatin release from microcapsules. Next, these microcapsules were given the dosage form for vaginal administration by coating them through the coating technique as gelatinous ovules. The main objective of the study was that of obtaining ovules which allow the release of the active substance in transmucosal conditions and pH specific to the vaginal mucous membrane in a given time interval (retarded release). Based on the results obtained, the preparation displays proper behaviour, good consistency during delivery and good stability.
