Computer simulation of the intermetallics formation process

摘要
Using the model of the free energy relaxation during intermetallic precipitation, a method of computer simulation of that transformation has been obtained. The temporal behavior of a binary solid solution has been described by the system of nonlinear equations obtained from a microscopic kinetic model including the induced elastic strain effects. The simulation results are confirmed by experimental observations of intermetallics precipitation. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
