The interaction between laser and water droplets

Initiated by the paper "First experimental studies on ablation liquids for laser propulsion" (Lasers in engineering, 2006, Vol. 16, No. (1-2)), was based on its application for laser propulsion and the experimental and theoretical studies on the interaction of the laser and water droplet were reported. Unsolved problems, which necessitated further research in the interaction between a laser beam and water droplets were underlined. Attracted near-future applications of the water droplet ablation mode of laser propulsion in aerospace were discussed.
