摘要
At present, use of synthetic fiber is not suggested in many fields due to various environmental effects. In order to maintain the ecological balance natural fiber based composite have drawn wide attention because of low cost, light weight, high strength, long lasting, renewable and corrosion resistance. This paper presents several natural fiber based composites (Jute, Basalt, Coir, Sisal) and their methods of preparation. By proper synthesis and treatment of natural fiber various mechanical properties of the natural fiber can be enhanced, which makes them suitable for various industries such as automotive industries, aerospace industry, marine industry and in building construction. @& nbsp;2021 Elsevier Ltd.
