摘要
Using barometric technique, gas permeation parameters (permeability (P), diffusion (D) and solubility (S) coefficients) were determined in glassy, amorphous addition poly(3,4-bis-trimethylsilyl)-tricyclononene) (PTCNSi2). It was shown that high permeability of this polymer is caused by great values of the D and S parameters. Aging process of PTCNSi2 was investigated first by estimating the P, D, and S parameters of nitrogen at relatively short aging times and then by determination of the same parameters for different gases for longer times. Analysis of the kinetics of aging indicated that exponential model of aging gives a somewhat better fit of the experimental data than an alternative power model at shorter aging times, while for longer times the analysis is in favor of the power model.
