摘要
This study suggests real-time sensing system of elderly's crossing behavior at outdoor environments. In general, many researchers use a manual based techniques by video recorded footage for detecting the behaviors. The detecting data are pedestrians' crossing times, speeds, trajectory data, step length, elderly pedestrians' crossing characteristics, and interaction with approaching vehicles, critical gap and safety margin. This method is too expensive and exhausted to apply as standard methodologies. This research describes a sensing system of pedestrian's crossing behaviors of using a mobile part and analysis server side. In this paper, we suggest a utilization of a real-time sensing system of elderly's crossing behavior at intelligent transport system. This study contributes to future pedestrian information sharing services.
