Microring lasing from dye-doped silica/block copolymer nanocomposites

摘要
The deposition of a dye-doped mesostructured silica/block copolymer thin film on a mesoporous thin film, itself deposited on an optical fiber, represents a new way to laser materials. The microring laser implemented exhibits a low threshold (~1.5 kW cm-2) and can be operated under ambient conditions for several tens of thousands of pulses.
