Influence of cold rolling reduction on the grain boundary character distribution and secondary recrystallization in nitrided Fe 3% Si alloy

摘要
The intensities of grain boundaries with misorientation angles between 20 degrees and 45 degrees (I-HE), and coincidence boundaries (I-C) in relation to Goss orientation were examined in the Fe-3%Si alloy processed with different levels of cold-rolling reduction. No relationship was found between the sharpness of Goss secondary recrystallization and the I-HE values; however, some correlation was found between Goss secondary recrystalization and the I-C values.
