The knowledge of the relationship between the microstructure of sintered composites and their magnetic properties permits to control and therefore tune these magnetic properties and, oppositely, it allows to derive a picture of the microstructure from measurements of the magnetic properties of such composites. We present a study of the properties of magnetic Fe fillers embedded in a non-magnetic Ag matrix. The remnant magnetization of these composites is negligibly small while the saturation magnetization, the permeability and the susceptibility are high. Therefore, these composites are well promising for applications.
