摘要
This paper presents how the methods of operational analysis, and especially methods for solving the optimization problems, were used in the draft of a novel system of lines of public bus transport in the city of Ceske Budejovice. This represents the partial outcome of research carried out by the Institute of Technology and Business in Ceske Budejovice. In the first and second part of the paper, the analysis of the current state of the researched problem is outlined. The objective, work procedure and methodology of the processed issue are described in the third part of the paper. The fourth part of the paper is focused on the compiling the mathematical model of the problem and its solution. The final part of the paper emphasizes the benefits of the solutions for transport practice and scientific knowledge.
