摘要
Stress intensity factors are generically formulated for load control problems. In some situations, the stress intensity is displacement controlled, causing a fall in stress intensity as the crack grows. It is difficult to account for this in fatigue calculations. This work demonstrates a method of computing load fall off under displacement control for a rivetted repair on an aircraft fuselage.
