More on linear superposition method for the (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear wave equations

摘要
In this paper, we find periodic solutions with different periods and velocities to the (2 + 1)-dimensional general Schodinger and Boussinesq equations by making approprite linear superpositions of known periodic travelling wave solutions involving Jacobi elliptic functions. It is noteworthy that this linear superposition procedure works by virtue of some remarkable new identities involving elliptic functions.
