Porous Cross-linked Poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate Micro-particles Prepared by Low Temperature Photopolymerization

摘要
We reported a new strategy to prepare porous micro-particles based on low temperature OhotopOlymerization of freezing suspension. A series of porous cross-linked poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA) micro-particles are formed as sample. The morphology and pore diameter of such micro-particles are characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and mercury intrusion porosimetry. The results indicated the diameter of the prepared micro particles ranged from 60 im to 160 mu m. The micro-particle diameter increased with the increase of concentration of PEGDA/water solution: The morphology and micro-particle diameter of porous particle was also influenced by stirring speed and stirring time. This approach will open a new door for the preparation of prous micro-particles.
